So I decided to do another Whitesburg Drive-In set! This time I went with a short table top stand and added some color - bright red and hammered silver! This set really pops and would look awesome with someone's retro decor. The Whitesburg Drive-In Theatre was a long gone drive-in that went up in flames in a controlled burn in 1980 in Huntsville, Alabama. You can read about the other set that I did from there by clicking HERE.
Just like the other set, this one consists of original vintage Koropp speakers from the Whitesburg sitting on a Soundmaster junction box, which is what they used at that location. The short stand makes it easy to place on a table top, counter, office desk, or workbench. Like all of my other drive-in speaker restorations it also has Bluetooth and a built in MP3 player and is pre-loaded with over 100 pre-loaded vintage drive-in theater ads, gasoline ads, vintage automobile ads, soda ads, and even some classic B-movie trailers with the flip of a switch! It has been went through completely inside and out and has all new wiring, speaker drivers, potentiometers, and electronics!
If you are interested in this speaker set, it is available (as of 6/29/2022). Email me at [email protected] for more information on it, or any other speaker sets that I have available to purchase.
