1970s EPRAD Drive-In Speaker Set with Bluetooth & MP3

IMG_3505
I've done a lot of EPRAD drive-in restorations over the years, often with or without red accents. But I am pretty sure I've never done any EPRADS with blue before. Earlier this year I was painting something with a beautiful blue that had small metallic flake in it and I thought it would look really nice on an EPRAD - so here we are! This one actually took a few months to build because of other projects and work getting in the way, but it is done and I think it looks really sharp!

So as you can see they are 70's era EPRAD drive-in speakers made in Toledo, Ohio resting on the proper EPRAD junction box. That is mounted on one of my custom made tall drive-in speaker stands, painted a dark hammered gray with the same blue as accents. The inside of the drive-in speakers have a brand new speaker driver and original potentiometers that have been reconditioned. And of course like all of my speaker restorations you have Bluetooth connectivity to your smart devices, as well as a built in MP3 player. The set is pre-loaded with hundreds and hundreds of vintage audio goodies that will bring you back memories of your youth! You can see a video below of the speaker set in action.
